Marielise Kelly succeeds in having Judgment Affirmed in the Appeals Court on the Basis of Sudden Medical Emergency Doctrine

Marielise Kelly was successful in the Massachusetts Appeals Court in having judgment of dismissal affirmed in her client’s favor on the basis of the sudden medical emergency doctrine in a case involving serious personal injuries sustained to a mother and her child after a high speed collision where the defendant driver suffered a seizure prior to the collision.  Tanner et al v. Sherwood, Appeals Ct. Docket # 19-P-931 (October 5, 2020 Rule 23.0 decision).
