J. McNulty, Jr., is Of Counsel to the firm of Gargiulo / Rudnick, LLP.
His practice focuses on estate settlement, probate litigation, real
estate and business law.
Since entering private practice in 1967, Mr. McNulty’s areas of practice
include estate planning, estate settlement, complex probate litigation,
and residential and commercial business matters. He is an approved
attorney for numerous local and national lenders and title insurance
companies.
From 1979 to 1984 Mr. McNulty served as a member of the Board of Editors
for The Massachusetts Lawyers’ Weekly. An Adjunct Professor of law since
1985, he has taught research and writing and other legal subjects at
various institutions including the National Academy of Paralegal
Studies, Fisher College and Northeastern University. In addition to his
full-time law practice, Mr. McNulty is an Adjunct Professor at Suffolk
University’s Frank Sawyer School of Management where he is presently
teaching a course on the Legal, Ethical, and Global Environment of
Business.
Mr. McNulty is licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of
Massachusetts; the State of New Hampshire; the United States District
Court for the District of Massachusetts; and the Supreme Court of the
United States. He attended Merrimack College, in North Andover,
Massachusetts and the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis,
Maryland. He received his B.A. in English Literature from Boston
University in 1963, a Juris Doctor degree from Boston University School
of Law in 1966 and an MBA from the Frank Sawyer School of Management at
Suffolk University in Boston, Massachusetts, in 2003, where he was
elected to Beta Gamma Sigma national honor society. Mr. McNulty is a
member of the Real Estate Bar Association (REBA), and the Barnstable
County and Massachusetts Bar Associations.
