Patricia Noyes-Corrigan concentrates her practice in civil litigation, including complex personal injury matters in medical malpractice, motor vehicle and products liability matters, as well as business disputes involving breach of contract, stockholder and breach of fiduciary duty claims.

Ms. Corrigan selects meritorious claims that she can devote considerable attention to within the team approach employed by the firm. She firmly believes in meticulous preparation of each phase of a civil matter from its initial investigation through trial and has managed numerous successful outcomes for the firm’s clients since she joined Gargiulo / Rudnick, LLP in 1989. Her balanced approached has served her clients well by assessing the strengths and weaknesses of each case and developing the most appropriate manner of resolution, whether through settlement or trial. Effective utilization of motions for summary judgment, for example, has resulted in extremely favorable settlement terms or outright dismissal on behalf of her clients. She has also brought matters before the Massachusetts Appeals Court and the Supreme Judicial Court with positive results for the parties she represented.

Ms. Corrigan was a Law Clerk for the Superior Court in Litchfield County, Connecticut, and is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association where she served as a member of the Civil Litigation Section Council and the Automobile Insurance Reform Committee. She also served as editor of the Civil Litigation Section Council’s newsletter and is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.

She is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst where she was a Spanish Literature and Latin American Studies major, and also studied in Madrid. Ms. Corrigan graduated from Suffolk University Law School where she earned honors for three consecutive years in moot court competitions, including winning the Northeast Regional Competition as one of two members of the school’s Patent Moot Court Team. She also was a contributing author to an article on then current Constitutional Law issues with Professor Marc Perlin that was published in the Annual Survey of Massachusetts Law.

In addition to her law practice, Ms. Corrigan is active in local community education and outreach volunteer services for the elderly and patients who are homebound. She has also been involved in fundraising for the Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Institute at the Floating Hospital in Boston.
