Dana P. Petrillo is an associate whose practice has concentrated on healthcare litigation. She became an associate in 2010 after working for Gargiulo/Rudnick LLP as a contract attorney. Ms. Petrillo is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the State of New Jersey.

Ms. Petrillo graduated from Georgetown University in 2004, cum laude, with a B.A. in English and Studio Art, and received her J.D. from the Boston University School of Law in 2007. While in law school, Ms. Petrillo worked at the law firm of Herzfeld & Rubin, P.C., in New York, NY where she worked primarily on plaintiffs’ foreclosure actions and on tort actions concerning asbestos use in the automotive industry. She then worked as a summer judicial law clerk in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Ocean County, Family Part. Upon graduating from law school, Ms. Petrillo completed year-long judicial clerkship in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Ocean County, Civil Part, where she was responsible for analyzing motions, researching pertinent law, and writing bench-briefs, orders, and opinions regarding a wide range of civil issues. She then relocated to Massachusetts, where she worked as a legal analyst for Bloomberg, LP.

During her employment at Gargiulo/Rudnick LLP, Ms. Petrillo’s work has focused on healthcare law, including statutory and regulatory compliance, Medicare and Medicaid compliance, and fraud and abuse issues. Her work has familiarized her with many state and federal healthcare laws, including Medicare, Medicaid, licensure, HIPPA, STARK, Anti-Kickback, and False Claims Act laws and regulations.
