Business Litigation and Commercial/Corporate Practice

We offer a variety of corporate and commercial law services. Our experience in the management of complex litigation includes our role as national counsel in multidistrict litigation for a major automobile manufacturer. As such, we were responsible for the retention and management of local counsel throughout the United States for a five-year period. We have represented clients in the construction industry, including public and private owners, awarding authorities, architects, engineers, general contractors, subcontractors and suppliers. Our construction clients are counseled in areas ranging from complex bidding, bonding and contract procedures to filing and perfecting mechanics' liens. We are also experienced in the efficient handling of class action and other complex litigation. We have also represented clients in the software and on-line industries, health care industry and restaurant and entertainment industry, as well as educational institutions and automobile manufacturers.

Areas of business law in which we litigate include contract law, RICO, fraud, tortious interference with contractual relations, trade secrets, employment disputes, and under M.G.L.A. c. 93A, the Massachusetts statute regulating unfair and deceptive business practices. We also serve clients in the areas of corporate organization and financing, corporate compliance, development of commercial properties, mergers and acquisitions and other duties associated with general counsel. We also utilize a computerized asset recovery system to aggressively collect past due accounts for our institutional and corporate clients.
